A targeted vitamin A treatment for uneven-looking tone and texture. This is a high-potency 0.5% retinol formula, so a gradual introduction matters more than adding another step quickly.

50 mL · Introduce gradually · Retinol treatment

Who it suits

Consider it for discolouration and uneven texture when your skin can tolerate retinol. If you are new to vitamin A or your skin is already irritated, speak with our team before choosing this strength.

Inside the formula

  • 0.5% retinol: helps improve the appearance of uneven tone and texture.
  • Controlled-release delivery: designed to release retinol gradually.
  • Bakuchiol: included for skin-conditioning support.

How to introduce it

ZO recommends starting on clean, dry skin twice weekly, then increasing to alternate days and daily only as tolerated. An evening routine is a practical starting point. Follow your pack and clinician’s advice; use daily sun protection.

Pair it thoughtfully

Keep a moisturiser and SPF in your routine. Brightalive may be a separate morning brightening step if recommended for your skin.

Should I add exfoliating acids too?

Start with one active change at a time. Adding acids or another retinol immediately can make it harder to judge tolerance. Ask us to review what you already use.

What if my skin becomes irritated?

Dryness and flaking can occur. Reduce use and seek advice if irritation is persistent or uncomfortable; do not push through significant irritation.

Can I use it during pregnancy?

Do not use retinol during pregnancy. If planning pregnancy or breastfeeding, ask your treating clinician about your routine.
