What is recovery like after a peel?
It depends on the peel and your skin. Redness, tightness, dryness and peeling can occur; stronger peels need more recovery. We will explain the expected timeline and aftercare before treatment.
How do I prepare?
Bring details of your skincare, medicines and recent treatments. We will give you individual preparation instructions, including which active products to pause. Peels can cause pigment changes, infection or scarring, so suitability and sun protection matter.
Who will I see at FutureSkin?
Your skin consultation is with a FutureSkin dermal therapist. FutureSkin was founded by Dr Amy Chahal, our Medical Director. Dr Amy’s own clinical practice is at TCMA.
Where is FutureSkin?
You will find us at Shop 22, The Rosebery Engine Yards, 135/151 Dunning Avenue, Rosebery. We are close to Zetland and Alexandria, with the centre’s car park entry via Mentmore Avenue.
