Hydrafacial focuses on cleansing, exfoliation and hydration. Dye-VL IPL targets selected pigmentation and redness concerns, while ClearLift is a laser option for skin rejuvenation. We select the second treatment after assessment.
Dye-VL and ClearLift are different technologies. Your concern, skin type and recent treatments guide the choice and whether the steps should happen together or separately.

Can the treatments happen in one visit?
Sometimes, but we assess the combination first. Your skin, recent sun exposure and other treatments may mean changing the sequence, separating appointments or choosing fewer steps.
What should I know about recovery?
IPL and laser have different suitability and aftercare considerations. Redness, swelling and pigment changes can occur, and burns or scarring are possible. We will explain the specific risks and recovery for the plan we recommend.
Who will I see at FutureSkin?
Your skin consultation is with a FutureSkin dermal therapist. FutureSkin was founded by Dr Amy Chahal, our Medical Director. Dr Amy’s own clinical practice is at TCMA.
Where is FutureSkin?
You will find us at Shop 22, The Rosebery Engine Yards, 135/151 Dunning Avenue, Rosebery. We are close to Zetland and Alexandria, with the centre’s car park entry via Mentmore Avenue.
